Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They allow the site to remember information about your visit (such as language, cart, login) for next time.

This policy also covers similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, beacons).

We categorize cookies by purpose. Only essential cookies are set before consent; the rest respect your choice on the banner.

• Essential (always active): necessary for Platform operation. Without them, basic features won't work.
• Functional (consent): remember your preferences (language, theme, session).
• Analytics (consent): help us understand aggregate usage and improve experience. Data is aggregated or pseudonymized when possible.
• Marketing (consent): used when you opt in for targeted communication. We currently do not use third-party marketing cookies.

These cookies do not require consent because they are indispensable:

• `_medusa_locale` — stores chosen language (pt/en/es). Duration: 1 year. Set by Cartfy.pro.
• `cartfy_consent` — records your cookie banner response (all/essential). Duration: 1 year. Set by Cartfy.pro.
• `cartfy_admin_token` — admin dashboard authentication (httpOnly, secure). Duration: session. Set by admin.cartfy.pro after login.
• `__cf_bm`, `cf_clearance` — bot and abuse protection. Duration: 30 minutes / 30 days. Set by Cloudflare.

When you accept functional cookies, we may use:

• `cartfy_country_pref` — remembers manually chosen country when different from IP-detected. Duration: 6 months.
• `cartfy_theme` — theme preference (light/dark), when applicable. Duration: 1 year.

We currently do not use third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.). We keep only internal aggregate metrics with no analytics cookies.

If we start using Google Analytics 4 or similar, we will update this list and the banner before activating.

You can accept all, accept essential only, or customize via the banner shown on your first visit. The choice lasts 1 year and is recorded in `cartfy_consent`.

To change later: clear the site's cookies in your browser. The banner will appear again.

You can also block cookies directly in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Beware: blocking essential cookies may break features.

Each store at `*.cartfy.pro` may set its own cookies for cart, end-buyer authentication and language. These follow the store's own policy (not this one).

Cartfy.pro never shares cookies between different stores — each subdomain is isolated.

If we change this policy, we will update version and date at the top, and re-show the banner when the change affects different cookie categories.
